Observing a beautiful sky at sunset somehow makes me feel more fully alive.  My paintings serve as reminders of this feeling, a call to be more aware of the wonder present in each moment.  At times, these works seem to glow as though lit from within, reflecting the quiet vitality I experience when fully present.  Presence itself feels paradoxical—at once grounded and dreamlike. In this state of reverie, obstacles lose their weight, problems diminish, and life can be seen from a broader, more spacious perspective.'
